Practical Geocommunication by Geologize
Geoscientists Canada has renewed and expanded its collaboration with Geologize for another two years. This includes access to the globally recognized Practical Geocommunication, an accredited and acclaimed flagship course for geoscience students, academics, and professionals who are undertaking public engagement.
Starting in 2026, this offering now also includes the brand-new Mining Communication, a course with a mining focus designed to help geoscientists in all disciplines develop stronger, clearer, and more impactful messages about the profession's role in modern society.
These courses—which retail for US$400 and US$650 online—are free for all APEGA registrants using the discount code in myAPEGA. Access to the courses expires on December 31, 2027.
