Vermilion River Branch
Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Vermilion River Branch (VRB) page. Our branch's operations are based in Alberta's border city, Lloydminster.
The VRB offers services and outreach on a volunteer basis to APEGA members and others in the city and surrounding communities.
Our volunteer members are always excited to get involved in our community and our profession. This involvement includes organizing networking and professional development events, participating in science Olympics at local schools, and fostering university enrolment in engineering and geoscience programs.
Enhancing your membership experience requires interaction and feedback. We welcome you to share your ideas via email or in person by attending one of our regularly occurring branch meetings.
If you are interested in learning more about the VRB and how you can get involved, please contact us.
Branch Executive
APEGA’s branch executive committees are an integral part of APEGA operations and are governed by the branch manual. The committee includes up to 15 appointed volunteers, including members-at-large and five core positions: chair, past-chair, vice-chair, treasurer, and secretary. The branch chair is responsible for running the branch. To ensure consistency among branches, chairs from all branches meet quarterly to discuss branch governance and business.
