Calgary Branch

Message from the Chair

Welcome to the Calgary Branch page. We aim to engage our membership and the public through our various committees including Outreach, Social Events, Meetings, Diversity and Inclusion, Golf, and Mentoring.

We offer quality professional development events for our Members, interesting speakers at our luncheons, and innovative networking opportunities to cultivate relationships between professional peers. We inspire youth in grade and post-secondary schools about the opportunities that careers in engineering and geoscience offer.

We are also providing local leadership as champions of the legislative review – a major APEGA project that will result in recommendations being forwarded to the Government of Alberta. The government will consider the recommendations as potential changes to the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act.

We are all volunteers who dedicate our time to furthering our professions. If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering with us, please contact us.
