Requesting Reconsideration

It is not enough to disagree with the decision from the Board of Examiners (BOE). If you will be requesting reconsideration, you must clearly state what error was made or how the process was unfair. Do not submit any new information with your request. Additional information may be requested later during the review process.

To qualify for a reconsideration, you must submit your request within 90 days of receiving the BOE’s decision letter.

If you do not submit within 90 days of your decision letter, you will lose the opportunity to apply for a reconsideration. At that point, you must either accept and continue with the decision made by the BOE, or you may withdraw and re-apply with a new application later.

To request a reconsideration, email [email protected] with:

  • A completed Request for Reconsideration application with payment information
  • Payment of a non-refundable reconsideration fee of $225 + GST
  • A letter addressed to the BOE that provides the reasons you feel an error was made, or why the process leading to the decision was unfair.
