Webinar | Novel Inverter Technology for Electrification

15 May 2024
Register by May 14, 2024

Hillcrest Energy Technologies (CSE: HEAT), a Canadian technology company, has commercialized a revolutionary technology that will significantly improve power conversion in many applications such as electric vehicles and hybrids (EV traction drives and chargers), renewable power generation (grid connecting inverters, power factor correction), and industrial drives (motor control), as the world evolves towards electrification goals.

During this session, Ari Berger, CTO of Hillcrest, will provide an overview of how Hillcrest’s core technology platform, zero-voltage switching (ZVS, or soft switching), will contribute to net-zero goals for Canada and the globe by directly impacting greenhouse gas emissions. This will include some historical context and a conceptual discussion of ZVS versus conventional solutions. Berger will also discuss some interesting application and market insights stemming from the technology.

Brought to you by the Calgary Branch. Everyone is welcome to attend.
