APEGA's Educators & Students Outreach Programs

APEGA is committed to supporting the professional engineers and professional geoscientists of today and tomorrow. We offer events and programs throughout the year, tailored for diverse audiences: K-12 students, university students, and educators.

APEGA’s K-12 Outreach initiatives empower youth to pursue their passions by equipping them with necessary skills for future careers and engaging them in experiences that demonstrate the variety of careers available in the engineering and geoscience fields.

Our University Outreach programs support undergraduate and graduate students who are transitioning from academia to industry and practising critical workplace skills (such as professionalism, effective communication, and project management) and building their network of industry professionals.

We also believe in supporting and inspiring educators to teach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in innovative and exciting ways. From funding opportunities to professional development, there is something for all STEM educators!
