SESSION FULL | Central Alberta Branch Tour | City of Red Deer Water Treatment Plant
Since the first tour of the water treatment plant filled up very quickly, the APEGA Central Alberta Branch is pleased to offer a second tour of the City of Red Deer Water Treatment Plant.
You'll be washed away with this exciting tour! Learn how the City of Red Deer produces a bountiful supply of pristine, sparkling, and (usually) tasty potable water from the Red Deer River. Try not to fall overboard from the exhilarating and action-packed adventure of witnessing how the plant draws in the river water while safely protecting all the river creatures, such as fish and humans, filters the water, and makes it safe for drinking before finally pumping it to our homes and businesses!
We ask that you carpool if possible as parking is limited. Parking across the street may be available. Steel-toed boots are preferred; closed-toe shoes are a required minimum.
For any questions about this event, please contact [email protected].
