APEGA Mentoring Café
Get ready to enhance your journey through engineering and geoscience. The APEGA Mentoring Café provides complimentary guidance and advice from expert professionals to members-in-training (M.I.T.s) enrolled in the Work Readiness Program and students enrolled in an engineering or geoscience program.
This mentoring program offers the opportunity to connect with industry professionals who are ready to offer guidance and advice on a variety of topics.
Search through our database to find a volunteer you find interesting who will share their knowledge and experience about the engineering and geoscience professions.
Designed to help you access professional guidance when you need it.
For students and M.I.T.s, you can ask for advice on:
- technical competence
- digital literacy
- inclusive leadership
- project and financial management
- social, economic, environmental, and governance
- professional accountability
- professional success and career topics
For M.I.T.s working on their professional application, you can request:
- mentoring for your professional application
- guidance for navigating the application process
- assistance ensuring all necessary information is included and presented effectively
Please be advised that mentoring for professional applications may require a longer commitment between mentors and mentees (sometimes up to three months). Working with a mentor on your application can provide valuable guidance and support, but does not guarantee acceptance by APEGA or any other regulatory body with whom the final decision resides.
