Annual General Meeting 2022
Join us for APEGA's virtual annual general meeting (AGM) on April 22. Open to all members and the public, the AGM is your opportunity to discuss issues important to the professions, vote on matters brought before Council, and present motions for Council consideration.
To ensure a smooth event, APEGA Council approved special rules of order at the March 24 Council meeting, which outline the procedures to be followed before and during the AGM.

Why a Virtual AGM?
During the 2021 APEGA election, 98 per cent of voters approved an amendment to the APEGA bylaws authorizing meetings of the association, such as the AGM, to be held in person, electronically, or as a hybrid of both. Though the bylaw amendment was primarily in response to the COVID-19 health crisis, its benefits are much broader—the ability to attend APEGA meetings virtually makes them more accessible to members who are unable to travel. The 413 total registrations for the 2021 AGM showed the format change was a welcome one.
