This tour will include the sprouting, kilning, and roasting processes associated with malt production.

Rahr Malting, located on the east side of Alix, along Highway 12, is a world-class malt production facility and ships malt around the world.

Closed-toe shoes are required. There will be stairs and slippery surfaces during this tour, so it is recommended to bring shoes with grip. You will be required to complete a waiver and information form on the day of the tour. You cannot take photos inside the plant during the tour.
