Enter the Centennial Photo Contest for a Chance to Win $1,000
Do you love taking photos? From mountains to microscopes, professional engineers and geoscientists have fascinating and exciting careers that have helped shape the world around us and improve the quality of life for all Albertans.
If you have great images that capture the spirit of engineering and geoscience in Alberta, we’d love to see them! APEGA is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020 and is seeking contemporary and historic photos of Alberta-based images that demonstrate the vibrancy and ingenuity of the professions. All submitted photos should be accompanied by a caption detailing the location and description of the photo subject matter. This contest is open to APEGA members only, including Members-in-Training and Life Members.
Judges will select first-, second-, and third-prize winners who will receive prepaid gift cards valued at $1,000, $750, and $500, respectively. Entrants in fourth through
twelfth place will receive prepaid gift cards valued at $100. The winning photo entries will be featured in an APEGA centennial calendar available in 2020.
