ASET 44-Page Report Titled Evidence Over Rhetoric
On January 23, the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) released a 44-page report titled Evidence Over Rhetoric, in which ASET outlines the results of a 16-month campaign to garner support from industry, government, and other stakeholders for mandatory certification of technologists and independent scope of practice. In the report, ASET makes erroneous and disparaging remarks about APEGA.
APEGA is carefully reviewing the report and will provide a detailed response to members and the Ministry of Labour that addresses the errors in the report.
