APEGA Permit Holder Directory
Use APEGA’s permit holder directory to confirm whether a company or organization is permitted to practise in Alberta. By first verifying through the only official directory, you protect yourself, your project, and the safety of Albertans.
This directory is updated every 24 hours.

- Select your search type. Choose Permit Holders to find companies and organizations, or toggle to Members to look up an individual.
- Enter identifying details. Type the company name or permit number into the search bar.
- Refine your results. Apply filters, such as Permit to Practice type or permit status, to narrow your search.
- Review the record. If the company has a Permit to Practice and an active permit status, it is legally allowed to provide engineering and/or geoscience services in Alberta.
- If no results appear, confirm the details you entered are correct. If the company or organization is still not listed, they may not have a Permit to Practice. Please contact [email protected] with the information you have, and we will help you verify their status.
