Webinar | Digital Nomads, Expats, and Cross-Border Mobility Transition Planning

07 Oct 2026
Register by October 6

As more professionals embrace digital nomad and expat lifestyles, cross-border mobility creates opportunities and complexities that extend far beyond a change of address. Changes in residency, domicile, and financial ties can have significant cross-border implications for taxation, banking, investments, insurance, and long-term planning.

Whether departing Canada, returning home, or managing cross-border wealth as an expat, participants will learn why mobility is not just about where you live, but also about how your wealth, assets, and financial identity move with you.

Key themes:

  • expat and cross-border planning
  • migration of wealth across borders
  • repatriation of funds
  • legacy planning and intergenerational wealth transfer
  • digital financial footprint
  • residency, domicile, and wealth transition planning

This session explores how expats can better understand their digital financial footprints, identify potential transition risks, and prepare for successful mobility transitions. Whether relocating within Canada or internationally, attendees will gain practical insights into the financial realities of modern expat and cross-border living.
