Come "check" out the best view in Red Deer! Join the Central Alberta Branch for an exciting tour of the tallest residential building in Red Deer, Checkmate Hill Condos. Learn about the HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems that make a large condo building run.
Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the building's backup generator, sprinkler fire pump, swimming pool systems, traction elevators, boilers, domestic water heating, parkade ventilation, rooftop chiller, and corridor ventilation systems. After the tour, we will meet at the Republic Room bar and grill for a social outing and networking event.

About the presenter
Craig Boris, P.Eng. is one of the co-founders of 908 Engineering Inc., located in Red Deer, which specializes in mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering for buildings. Craig is a resident of Checkmate Hill, has lived in the building since 2008, and has overseen some of the mechanical maintenance for the building in recent years.
