Tour a precision machining facility to see more than 25 CNC machines in action and learn how parts are made locally. See how castings are cleaned and witness heat treating, nitriding, laser cutting, painting, anodizing, chrome plating, zinc and nickel plating, and sub assembling.
The facility's CNC equipment includes 16 turning centers, seven vertical machining centers, two FMS horizontal machining cells and one E420 multi tasking station. Its manual equipment includes 11 engine lathes, one VT lathe, eight mils, two surface grinders, along with radial drills, 14" diameter saws, and 200-ton hydraulic presses.
