Central Alberta Branch | Anthony Henday Water Treatment Plant Tour

29 May 2026
Register by May 27

Join the Central Alberta Branch for a field tour of the Anthony Henday Water Treatment Plant, a Class III water treatment facility northwest of Innisfail on the Red Deer River. The plant uses flocculation and ultra filtration technology to purify the water down to bacteria size and then adds chlorine to sanitize the water before pumping the water down the pipeline to the six communities supplied by the plant.

We will tour the pumphouse, sedimentation area, and purification equipment within the plant. After the tour, we will meet at the Field & Forge Brewing Company in Innisfail for an informal social gathering.

Spaces are limited, so register quickly!
