About the presenter
Marie Gervais (PhD., MED, CTDP) holds a doctorate in Culture and Learning in the Workplace, is an ICF ACC coach, and a certified emotional success coach. She specializes in helping clients with their career changes including understanding the social, cultural, and political dynamics of the workplace and moving past emotional obstacles to success. She has partnered with APEGA as a benefit provider for training and coaching over the past three years, and many of her clients are engineers and geologists. With a strong background in intercultural competency in the workplace, supported by her education and professional experience, Dr. Gervais has helped numerous professionals advance their careers and has assisted over 200 immigrants to Canada in starting their own businesses and building diverse teams. She has created multiple resources for employers and employees to work more effectively with a multicultural workforce, and is the author of the book The Spirit of Work: Timeless Wisdom, Current Realities.
