About the presenters
Allan Cormier is a project manager at Montrose Environmental Group overseeing clients across Western Canada. He has been with Montrose since 2020 and has previous stack testing experience with LEHDER Environmental and Emissions Test Group. Allan graduated with a diploma in chemical engineering technology from NAIT and with a BEng in chemical engineering from Lakehead University. At Montrose, Allan largely performs regulatory compliance work for his clients following stack sampling methods set forth by Alberta Environment and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Laurence Kuan, P. Eng., is an asset integrity engineer at Apave. Laurence has a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alberta. He has worked in the oil and gas industry for six years. He focuses on maintaining asset integrity at all stages, from data collection to performing fitness-for-service assessments. Laurence leverages inspection techniques to ascertain the condition of assets (pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, etc.) and then evaluates and maintains their integrity.
