Our deepest condolences go out to the six families of those who passed in the tragic plane crash near Kananaskis Village this past weekend, including Adam Laser, an engineer-in-training registered with APEGA.
The plane took off on Friday, July 29, and was found by a search and rescue team the following day. The five passengers were headed to Salmon Arm, B.C., for a church event.
“We send his wife, Jordan, and daughter, Amelia, our heartfelt sympathies. The loss of Adam is a loss for all Albertans. It is losing one of the builders of Alberta, one of the innovators of our future. Our profession grieves alongside your family at this challenging time,” says Jay Nagendran, P.Eng., APEGA’s registrar and CEO.
