Lethbridge Branch | Oldman River Dam Tour
Join us for an exclusive guided tour of the Oldman River Dam, one of Alberta’s major water-management and flood-control infrastructure facilities. This in-person event will provide engineering professionals with an overview of the Oldman River Dam, its key components and functions, and the role it plays in water management and regional infrastructure.
Whether you have experience with dams and water infrastructure or are simply interested in learning more about the engineering behind these critical facilities, this tour will offer a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge and see engineering principles applied in the field.
The tour will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Oldman River Dam administration office. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the site. No personal protective equipment is required for the tour.

About the presenter
Robert Plante is a civil engineering technologist with 34 years of experience, including extensive experience serving as the operations and maintenance supervisor for the Government of Alberta at the Oldman River Dam.
