EPCOR’s Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant treats wastewater from Edmonton and surrounding area, serving a population of nearly 1.5 million people. The facility treats more than 100,000 million litres of wastewater annually through the biological nutrient removal treatment process before returning to the North Saskatchewan River. Join us for a tour of one of Canada’s largest wastewater treatment plants in its 70th year of operation. The tour will be hosted by Ian Charles, P.Eng., EPCOR Water Services’ associate director of plant engineering, and team.
