About the presenters

Mike Tang is an automation engineer with over 30 years of experience working on control systems across oil and gas, energy, and industrial sectors. Throughout the career, Mike has engaged in control system designing, programming, commissioning, and supported safe and efficient operations. Mike currently works for TC Energy, and plays an instrumental role in a number of projects to modernize its gas turbine control systems.

 

Jason Ault, P.L.(Eng.), P.Tech.(Eng.), is a senior controls and automation lead with TC Energy Industrial Controls & Cyber Security, with 30+ years of experience improving reliability, safety, and operational integrity across major natural gas and liquids infrastructure. He specializes in leading technical teams, modernizing PLC/SCADA systems, and delivering automation solutions that support long-term asset performance.
