Webinar | Why Am I So Tired?
We live in a busy world, and many people experience feeling tired and fatigued as a result. This one-hour webinar will explore why we may feel tired, and helpful practices to combat this.
Course objectives:
- explain why sleep is so important for our health.
- distinguish between the two different types of sleep.
- identify strategies for better quality and quantity of sleep.
- identify strategies for overcoming fatigue and tiredness.
- practice techniques to respond to stress.

About the presenters
Sarah Pearson
is a recovery and peer facilitator for the Canadian Mental Health Association Edmonton's Recovery College and the program coordinator for mental-health education. She is a registered social worker and has 11 years of experience working in addictions and mental health, predominately within Edmonton's inner-city community servicing the city's most vulnerable unhoused population.
Jeremy Livingston is a recovery and peer facilitator for the Canadian Mental Health Association Edmonton’s Recovery College. He has studied philosophy at the graduate level, and law. He is originally from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and has lived in Edmonton for the past nine years.
