Webinar | Project Management Tools for Engineering Leads

04 Dec 2025
Register by December 3

Join this three-hour session examining and demonstrating project management tools for managing engineering work.

Managing engineering work has been likened to “herding cats,” but the reality is that herding cats is easy—just lead from the front. Engineers generally appreciate knowing the “why, what, and when” of the work. This course will demonstrate project management tools to help with planning engineering work, tracking work progress, and transparently communicating information and expectations to the engineering team. In this way, you can be “out in front” of the work, enabling your team’s success.

This session will be held through Zoom.

About the Presenter

George Anderson, FEC., P.Eng., PMP,  founder and president of Anderson IRC Ltd., is an engineer and analyst with over 30 years of experience in engineering, procurement construction, construction dispute consulting and litigation support, and public speaking. George primarily practices support for construction dispute resolution through the forensic analysis of projects and schedules, providing opinions on what went wrong, and by how much. This practice gives a large window into how not to manage communication and risk on projects, a subject he cares deeply about. George provides consultation and seminars on this subject.

As an APEGA member for 25 years, and volunteer for 15, he has served with the Calgary Branch, on the Nominating Committee, and on the Investigative Committee for the last nine years. This last role in particular has informed his experience with disputes and their resolutions.
