Webinar | Trauma and Its Impact on Leadership

09 Oct 2025
Register by October 8, 2025

One does not have to be a military veteran or live in a war zone to encounter trauma. Trauma happens to us, our friends, colleagues, families, and neighbors. Sexual abuse, alcoholism, and family violence have been part of many of the lives of those we lead and serve.

Human beings are a resilient species, but it’s naïve to think that such events in our upbringing don’t impact the way we relate to people in our homes, communities, and workplaces. Trauma leaves traces on our bodies and minds. It impacts the way we think, the way we feel, the way we interact with those around us, and the way we live.

Join David Irvine as he shares his experience, research, and perspective on the responsibility of workplace leaders to:
  • learn how trauma impacts our lives and the lives of the people we lead and serve
  • transform the pain of our past into purpose, so we don’t transmit it to others
  • create courageous and safe organizations in a world where so many have experienced trauma

This session will be held through On24.
