Notice of Closures and Outages for January 2019

The following departments and services will be experiencing closures and outages at the end of January 2019, because of regular system and security upgrades.

APEGA’s online systems will be unavailable from January 24 to 29, 2019, including the Member Self-Service Centre (MSSC), the Company Self-Service Centre (CSSC), and the Board of Examiners Portal. During this outage:

  • Electronic forms are inaccessible, including applications forms, reference forms, and validator forms
  • Members and permit holders cannot pay their dues
  • The Board of Examiners cannot review applications
  • Applicants cannot apply for exams in the MSSC
  • Members cannot submit their Continuing Professional Development hours

Members can still submit the following requests during this outage:

  • Confirmation letters
  • Verifications to other associations or boards
  • Voluntary cancellations
  • Dues reduction requests
  • Member-in-training reinstatements
  • Life member reinstatements
  • Life membership requests
  • Name changes

These requests will be processed by the membership coordinators in the order they were received when the system is back online.

The Registration Department will be closed from January 25 to February 1, 2019, to undergo a system upgrade. All application deadlines will be extended by six business days to accommodate this service disruption. If you have any concerns, please contact and we will respond when Registration reopens.

The Permits Department will be closed from January 25 to 28, 2019, to undergo a system upgrade. The Company Self-Service Centre (CSSC) will be unavailable during this time. Permit holders will not be able to:

  • reset their passwords
  • pay outstanding invoices
  • add or remove Responsible Members
  • update or search member and permit holder information
  • receive confirmation of dues reduction approval
