Improvements Launched in Company Login Area

APEGA has improved service to Permit Holders by adding new functions and content to the Company Self-Service Centre (CSSC).

Permit Holder representatives with access to the login area can now:

  • see the names and membership status of all APEGA members, including non-professional members, associated with their permit
  • add and remove the names of members associated with their permit, including Responsible Members (RMs)
  • see the date of the most recent Permit to Practice Seminar attended by any of their RMs
  • see an estimate of their Permit Holder's annual dues

Permit Holders are now responsible for the accuracy of the data associated with their file. This better aligns their content with their Professional Practice Management Plans and quality management systems.

APEGA has made two declarations in the CSSC more relevant and comprehensive — the Responsible Member declaration and the Chief Operating Officer acknowledgment declaration.

Several changes affect members and their Permit Holder data:

  • individual members will be notified by email when Permit Holders make changes to their employment records
  • members no longer need to log in to the Member Self-Service Centre (MSSC) to provide current employer information. Note: this does not apply to applicants because employment and experience are part of the application process
  • members no longer need to self-declare as Responsible Members through the MSSC, as the Permit Holder will now manage this through the CSSC, with notification to the Responsible Member
