CANCELLED: Catching the Current Wave; What Job Searchers Need to Know in Today's World

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

This event has been cancelled.

Just like everything else in this fast-paced world, keeping up with current and effective job search techniques is no easy task for job searchers. How can I move up in my organization? What if I don’t want to be an engineer anymore? How do I find out what else I’m good at? What if I want to become an entrepreneur? What are the current trends in writing resumes and cover letters? How are employers recruiting these days? How should I prepare for today’s interviews? How do I maximize social media? Participants will learn answers to these questions, and a lot more, in this highly interactive session.

After participating in this session, you will be able to:

  • Leverage social media
  • Identify and learn about cutting-edge job search tools
  • Understand employer recruiting techniques
  • Utilize informal (and free) self assessment tools
