Fort McMurray Branch APEGA CPD Hours Seminar
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Register by April 24, 2019
Mandatory continuing professional development is common in many professions. In most provinces, the engineering and geoscience regulatory organizations have moved towards mandatory requirements. APEGA's CPD Program establishes an annual process and a minimum benchmark of effort. The minimum requirements may not be adequate to maintain or increase competence, so it is up to you to assess your own needs and to plan appropriately.
Recognizing the diversity of APEGA members, the program provides the flexibility for members to undertake activities that provide the greatest benefit to them in the practice of their profession. However, this flexibility can create confusion as members are overwhelmed by the categories and definition of CPD. The aim of the session is to describe APEGA's CPD program, its components, features, and flexibility to allow members to understand how they can easily meet their professional obligation.
