About the Presenters
Aliesha Hart Stone is the equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) manager with APEGA and manages initiatives working towards advancing inclusion within the engineering and geoscience professions. She holds a bachelor of arts honours degree in women’s and gender studies with the University of Alberta. She began her career in advocacy and social services working for Alberta non-profits fostering inclusion and belonging for equity-seeking communities. Aliesha has an extensive background in stakeholder engagement and led an EDI-focused initiative bridging the unemployment gap for youth with developmental disabilities. She is passionate about advancing opportunities for women and all equity-deserving groups in our communities.
