Webinar | Introduction to the NBC(AE) Schedules and User Guide
The updated Schedules of Professional Involvement for the National Building Code (Alberta Edition) (NBC(AE)) are the result of a multi-year collaboration between the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA), the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Alberta Municipal Affairs, and the Safety Codes Council. Schedules are required for most non-residential building projects within Alberta, and it is intended that the updated schedules will form part of the next edition of the NBC(AE). Join us for a presentation by members of both AAA and APEGA who were involved in the development of the schedules and user guide.
The presentation will cover:
- why we need schedules
- what the concerns are with the existing schedules
- how we have addressed those concerns
- what you need to know about the new schedules
- what additional resources are available
The presentation will conclude with an example and an opportunity to ask questions.
This session is intended for safety codes officers and other representatives of an authority having jurisdiction.
This session will be held on ON24.
For any questions regarding the session, please contact [email protected].
