About the Speaker
Amy Zell, P.Eng., is a leader in the Canadian energy industry, where she works on connecting Canada’s long history of energy innovation with the future needs of the economy, the environment, and the population. Her passion for balancing economic imperatives with environmental realities has led her to her current role as technical director, voluntary carbon markets, at IETA. When not bringing her passion, enthusiasm, and curiosity to work, you can find her in the Rocky Mountains taking advantage of Canada’s natural beauty. She holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the University of Calgary and is a professional engineer registered with APEGA.
