APEGA published the Relying on the Work of Others and Outsourcing practice standard in May 2021, and the standard became enforceable on May 1, 2022, after a one-year transition period which allowed registrants time to comply with the new requirements. Do you know your obligations?

The purpose of the 1.5 hour PD session is to:

    • Inform registrants about the standard
    • To answer questions related to the content

The content in the PD sessions will include:

    • What is a thorough review?
    • What to do if you authenticate work done by someone else?
    • What is direct supervision and control?
    • What to do if you outsource work to another APEGA licensed professional or permit holder?
    • What is an outsourcing process?
    • What to do if you outsource work to entities not licensed by APEGA?
    • What is an outsourcing plan?

This session will be held through ON24. Please reach out to [email protected] for any questions regarding this session.
