The recent current events are likely to take a toll on our stress levels, our moods, our sense of control, our sense of the future, and our confidence. The best antidote to all of the negative impacts we are experiencing right now is self-compassion. We hope this one-hour online interactive class will be helpful for you right now and in the future.

About the Presenters

Jeremy Livingston is the Recovery Facilitator and Peer Facilitator for CMHA Edmonton’s Recovery College. He studied philosophy at the graduate level, and law. He is originally from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and has lived in Edmonton for the past nine years.

Meagan Chan (she/her) is the Recovery Facilitator for CMHA Edmonton's Recovery College. She has over seven years of experience in the mental health field and holds a master's degree in counselling psychology. Meagan further supports individuals with their unique recovery journey through private practice as a registered provisional psychologist and as a Canadian Certified Counsellor.
