We're facing a world that has accepted climate change to be a fact, and both our provincial and federal governments have put a price on carbon. We can be mad about this, or we can get motivated to use this to our advantage. Within the carbon pricing framework there is a golden ticket for Albertan companies to make money and benefit the environment, and that is through carbon offsets. This presentation will motivate you to take advantage of this opportunity, and give you the tools needed to start the conversations at your company on how to make the carbon tax work for you.

Participants will learn:

  • How the carbon pricing regulation in Alberta works
  • How companies can make money through carbon offsets, while benefiting the environment
  • How to have conversations using this information
