When you make presentations to clients or lay out the future of your company to your employees, your public speaking skills can be the difference between success and failure. Overcoming the anxiety of public speaking and the way you deliver your message is the key to reaching your potential. If you want your business to succeed or advance in your career, this training will be an investment that pays off immediately.
The move to video for most business meetings has changed the dynamic of how we relate to other people during the workday. In the past, you probably prepared yourself for “in person” presentations in a board room by writing out your pitch, practicing your delivery and wearing clothing suitable for the occasion. Now the added challenge of doing this virtually presents other obstacles, but personal performance and better speaking skills still apply regardless of delivery method.
We will approach public speaking for video with many tips about relaxing in front of the camera and taking your presentation from ordinary to spectacular.
In this workshop you will learn:
- To translate your passion for the subject into your presentation
- How breathing to your full lung capacity gives you support and vocal power
- The power of non-verbal communication
- How anxiety creates a physiological reaction in our bodies
- Exercises and techniques that help you overcome the fear
- How to engage the audience when speaking virtually
- The importance of active listening while in a virtual meeting
