This workshop will help you gain important insights into methods that are used to establish a workplace with a foundation of mutual success. Four practical tools will be introduced and practiced to build more trusting teams and workplaces.

What we will cover:

  • Learn about what goes on in your brain to help and also hinder you in your work.
  • Practice tools to create a safe environment, be more transparent, reduce conflict, and open a view of shared success.
  • Learn four practical techniques to help you build trust in teams and practice using these techniques in groups with real problems.
  • Learn strategies to listen and connect with others, ask effective questions, create more transparency, and build a shared view of success in the workplace.

About the Presenter

Kerry Black is a leadership development specialist and executive coach working primarily with new and emerging leaders in education and not-for-profit organizations. Kerry is the founder of Black Ink Coaching and Consulting. Prior to becoming a coach, Kerry held roles in public education as a teacher, principal, and leadership consultant. Kerry holds a masters degree in Teaching and Learning (University of Calgary), a graduate certificate in Executive Coaching (Royal Roads University), and certificates in Adult and Community Education and Human Resource Management. Kerry is an engaging speaker and presents locally and internationally.
