This free, 2.5 hour seminar is on APEGA’s expectations for Permit Holders and Responsible Members. Responsible Members must attend a Permit to Practice seminar within six months of being added as a Responsible Member, and then at least once every five years.
This seminar covers:
- Permit to Practice administration
- how to create and maintain a professional practice management plan
- the roles and responsibilities of a Responsible Member
- APEGA’s discipline and enforcement process
Shreeram Sigdel, P.Eng., PhD, PMP currently is the Assistant Director of Professional Practice with APEGA. His main focus is in improving APEGA’s policies, processes and procedures for effective regulatory and compliance functions. Shreeram is an experienced Professional Engineer and Project Manager, with over 10 years of experience in advanced wireless communication systems engineering R&D, software development, and project management. With a PhD in wireless communication systems and project management professional (PMP) designation, he brings a diverse expertise in initiating and managing through all phases of technology R&D projects tailored to industry trends and needs. Shreeram also brings experience in consulting (software development and testing), teaching, supervising, and managing the scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) program of the Government of Canada.
