Permit to Practice Seminar

8:30 am - 11:00 am

Register by April 17, 2017 

This free, 2.5 hour seminar is on APEGA’s expectations for Permit Holders and Responsible Members. Responsible Members must attend a Permit to Practice seminar within six months of being added as a Responsible Member, and then at least once every five years. 

This seminar covers: 

  • Permit to Practice administration
  • how to create and maintain a professional practice management plan
  • the roles and responsibilities of a Responsible Member
  • APEGA’s discipline and enforcement process

Presenter Biography

Dustin Baptist, P.Eng.Dustin Baptist, P.Eng., graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a B.Sc. in computer engineering. Since that time, Dustin has held various positions within the electric utility industry in Alberta, with more than 8 years leading regional engineering activities for the power company in Grande Prairie. Dustin has been involved several times on creating and re-writing professional practise management plans and has been operating as a Responsible Member since 2013. In his spare time, Dustin involves woodworking and giving electricity presentations to Grade 9 students.
