About the Presenter
Mary-Ann Owens is an Executive and Career Coach. She has an MBA and PhD both from The University of Calgary and is a certified Corporate Coach. She has 15 years of experience coaching professionals and leaders. She has facilitated workshops on career grit for more than two years. Mary-Ann has vast resources on enabling career progress, as she has facilitated workshops on stress management and resilience for 15 years. She has spoken on grit and resilience at the Human Resources Professional Association and at the Alberta Career Development Conference. Mary-Ann is finishing a book on career grit and her experience includes executive coaching, facilitation, and career coaching with her own firm Mary-Ann Owens and Associates Inc. as well as work at an outplacement firm for 10 years.
