Calgary Branch Evening: Career Transition Imperatives
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Register by December 6, 2017
Protracted, prolonged and confounding are terms used to describe this current Alberta downturn. The rules of engagement have changed. Applying for positions out of scope have produced predictable and lacklustre results. There seems to be no clear path to reorient a career to where the prospects of work are greater.
In this presentation, we will explore:
- How to secure cash flow while looking for a job
- Identify skills that will be your "Plus 15"
- Determine where the work is
- Discuss strategies to make inroads into a new sector.
This knowledge will rejuvenate your job search and produce better results due to understanding the current technical marketplace. Participants are invited to bring their resumes as we will be using them during the session.
