I have proven and demonstrated skills in strategic planning, risk management, incident investigation, and technology evaluation which I have earned during my 39 plus years of global experience in oil and gas industries in various positions of technical and administrative leadership. I am a responsible member and a core member of the Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) in my company.
I have excellent knowledge of APEGA, as I have been an active member of APEGA since 2002. During this time, I have held various positions in the Fort McMurray branch and I am currently an Experience Examiner on the Registration Committee, a member of the Character Committee, and a mentor in the APEGA mentorship program. This has given me the opportunity to interact with professional members of different industries, disciplines and cultural backgrounds with varied levels of experience. I have attended all the legislative council update sessions conducted by APEGA and provided valuable feedback during those sessions. I am proud of my involvement with APEGA as self-regulation is a privilege we have.
I believe in mentoring and coaching, and sharing my knowledge and experience, and I truly consider it a privilege.
