Feb 27 | Vermilion River Branch Annual General Meeting and Bowling

Join the Vermilion River Branch for casual bowling at Lloyd Lanes Bowling Alley. After bowling, members are welcome to join our annual general meeting in one of the meeting room spaces upstairs at Lloyd Lanes.

Mar 9 | Vermilion River Branch Curling Open Funspiel

The Vermilion River Branch is hosting a curling funspiel for members of APEGA, ASET, APEGS, SASTT, and guests. Teams consist of 3-4 people and should include at least two players registered as professional members. All skill levels are welcome.

Ivan Finlay Leadership Award

The Ivan Finlay Leadership Award recognizes Alberta university engineering and geoscience students who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities. The award includes a prize of $1,000. Nomination deadline is February 15.

Science Olympics Volunteers

APEGA is looking for enthusiastic volunteers interested in sharing their passion for engineering and geoscience with students at the 2019 APEGA Science Olympics.

University Outreach Volunteers

Volunteers are needed for university outreach events at the University of Alberta in winter 2019.

Virtual Resume Review Volunteers

APEGA seeks volunteers with formal hiring experience to virtually review resumes for engineering and geoscience university students across Alberta.

Equality and Diversity Consultations

APEGA is looking for members who would like to participate in the consultation phase of a program supported by the Department for Women & Gender Equality (formerly Status of Women Canada). We are holding in-person and virtual sessions to meet with members of all gender identities to discuss barriers women face in the engineering and geoscience workplace.

APEGA’s Mentoring Program is Available Throughout Alberta

Potential mentees and mentors are invited to participate in APEGA’s mentoring program. Consider connecting via Skype, FaceTime, email, or phone to make the most of your mentoring relationship.
