Complete one of three GeoHunts (geoscience-themed scavenger hunts) in Edmonton, Calgary, or Canmore, and be entered to win fabulous prizes. Get outside, explore, and learn about the fascinating geoscience right in your own backyard!

All three GeoHunts will open on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
To be entered into the prize draw, ensure you complete at least one of the APEGA GeoHunts by 11:59 p.m. MDT on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
What Do I Need to Participate?
- A smartphone or tablet
- The Actionbound app
- A special token that you will bring with you as you complete the different stages of the GeoHunt. Some of the challenges will require you to upload a photo with this token. Your token can be anything—a pen, your favourite stuffed animal, or a special memento. Ensure you bring the same token with you to all of the locations and please do NOT include yourself or any identifying information in any of the photos to maintain privacy
- A username for the app. Again, please do NOT use your real name as your username or include any identifying information as part of your username

This GeoHunt will take you to various locations throughout Calgary, including:
- Edworthy Park
- Memorial Park Library
- Mount Royal University
- North Glenmore Park
- Nose Hill Park
- Scotsman's Hill
- Reader Rock Garden National Historic Site
- The University of Calgary
- Waterfall Valley
