If you are applying to the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) and have engineering credentials, AND you are working in an occupation under NOC: 2131, 2132, 2133, 2134, 2141, 2143, 2144 OR 2145, you will require a Letter of No Objection from APEGA to submit with your AINP Application.
Please note that if you are working in an occupation under NOC: 2231, 2232, 2241 or 2253, you DO NOT require a Letter of No Objection from APEGA.

If for any other reason you require a Letter of No Objection, please follow the above instructions. Alberta employers requiring a Letter of No Objection for an employee, please include a copy of the Labour Market Opinion if applicable.
Once the information is received and reviewed, normally, the letter will be issued within a few business days, and sent to you by return e-mail. Originals are not mailed as a copy is acceptable for the purpose it was issued.
